ThayerMahan Mitigates Undersea Drone Risk

Revolution Wind Project has a Contract for the Technology

By: Rep. Joe Courtney

Work on Revolution Wind, the first U.S. commercial-scale offshore wind project, was halted amid concerns that undersea drones could exploit critical infrastructure like offshore wind farms to launch attacks.

ThayerMahan thanks Representative Joe Courtney for recognizing how our technology addresses these risks:

“Regarding the swarming undersea drones, Revolution Wind has a contract with ThayerMahan, a maritime company that installs and operates undersea surveillance technology using sonar arrays and pickets to monitor and detect malign activity. They protect wind farms today, they protect oil rigs today, they protect U.S. ports today with the finest technology.”
