Ken Edwards

Ken is responsible for overseeing the Security, Safety, Facilities and Logistics functions at ThayerMahan. 

Ken came to ThayerMahan after a successful thirty-five-year career in law enforcement as a local police commander, statewide cold case homicide detective and federal task force officer. He served on the Hartford Shooting Task Force, FBI Connecticut Violent Crimes Task Force, US Attorney’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Committee, USCG Group Long Island Sound’s Port Security Committee, the Thames River Port Security Working Group and Chaired New London’s Harbor Management Committee.

At ThayerMahan, he is responsible for adherence to the National Industrial Security Program as the Facilities Security Officer (FSO). He also oversees our robust Health and Safety Program, including ISO 45001 certification. Ken and his wife Nancy live in New London where they raised their two children.
