Greg Sabra, Vice President of Security and Monitoring, leads ThayerMahan’s efforts to deliver advanced acoustic monitoring and maritime security solutions for both environmental stewardship and national defense. Greg oversees programs that protect critically endangered species—such as the North Atlantic Right Whale—during offshore construction and vessel transits, while also ensuring the security of maritime borders, ports, and critical infrastructure.
Greg’s background includes two master’s degrees from MIT in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, as well as professional certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP). During his two-decade U.S. Coast Guard career, Greg served as an Engineering Instructor, Operations/Resource Director, and project manager for complex shipyard and maintenance programs. His technical depth and operational insight ensure ThayerMahan delivers safe, reliable, mission-critical solutions for both environmental and security applications.
